Part-time Children and Families Worker

Come and join our creative and committed Children and Families Team! We are offering a part-time post for someone excited to share God’s love with the families in our town.
Ross is a town constantly growing and developing with many new homes. This creates exciting and new opportunities to engage with families of the town, offering them support and encouragement.
We are looking to appoint someone with a passion to see children grow in their understanding and love for God.
This is a part time post, and we are flexible about terms if appointment so in your application please indicate whether you are interested in working 2, 2.5 or 3 days a week.

· Salary of £21,000 pro rata. This is a part-time role, worked flexibly, including some Sunday mornings
· 1 year contract with an opportunity to renew
You will:
· Work with the Families Ministry Team Leader in developing the children and families work
· Share a front-facing role in children’s activities and events within church and the local community designed for children up to, and including, year 6.
· Take a full active role in the life of the church
You are:
· Someone with strong faith in Jesus that is shown in everyday life
· Passionate about teaching and reaching children and their families
· A team player – someone who can enthuse and inspire others
· Someone with vision, initiative, self-motivation and good time management skills
